Freeing Yourself from the Reincarnation Cycle

Most of us hope that upon death we will continue to live….free from the cycle of reincarnation but that probably isn’t true here’s why

The teachings of Jesus and other ascended masters have often centered around the concept of non-attachment, a principle that is sometimes misunderstood. Non-attachment does not mean that we are not supposed to enjoy or appreciate the beauty and richness of God’s creation. In fact, we are that creation. There is nothing we can do to separate ourselves from God, for God is in everything, and everything is in God.

However, where we often find ourselves stuck is in how we bind ourselves to the material forms of creation, and in doing so, we limit our understanding of who we truly are. We identify so deeply with the material world that we forget we are not just creation—we are also the creator. This distinction between creation and creator becomes the source of our perceived separation from God, causing us to live within the illusion of duality.

Karma: The Binding Force

Karma, meaning action, is the very force that binds us to this illusion. Through our actions, we perpetuate our attachment to the material forms of the world, and with each attachment, we remain trapped within a particular frequency or level of consciousness. When we are identified with one frequency, one form of matter, we limit our ability to transcend it. Instead of flowing freely with the energy that underlies all things, we become stuck, bound by the limitations of our own mind.

This binding happens because we fail to recognize that everything is a manifestation of the same divine energy. Whether it is an experience of joy or sorrow, abundance or lack, it is all God in different forms. When we favor one experience over another or resist certain forms of creation, we become trapped. This attachment or aversion keeps us confined to the material plane, unable to see beyond the illusions that surround us.

Understanding the Energy Behind Creation

To break free, we must begin to see the underlying energy that flows through all things. When we understand that all forms of creation are simply different manifestations of the same source, we can start to release our resistance to some experiences and our attachments to others. This recognition of the divine in all things becomes the mechanism through which we liberate ourselves from the binding forces of karma and delusive matter.

It’s like holding onto a rock that is dragging us down to the bottom of a lake. The longer we hold onto it, the deeper we sink, becoming imprisoned by our attachment. But once we release the rock, we find that we are free to swim, to float, and to explore the entire lake. We can move in and out of its depths, experiencing all levels of consciousness without being stuck in any one of them. The freedom comes not from escaping the lake, but from no longer being bound to any one part of it.

Non-Resistance: The Path to Freedom

The act of non-attachment is actually an act of non-resistance. When we stop resisting any form of creation—whether it’s a challenging experience or a blissful one—we free ourselves. We recognize that all experiences are simply an experience of God. This realization allows us to flow with life, to engage with creation without becoming bound by it. We are no longer prisoners of the material world, of our emotions, or of our limited perceptions of reality.

Non-attachment, then, is not about denying the pleasures or pains of life. It is about transcending them, seeing them for what they truly are: temporary manifestations of a deeper, eternal truth. When we are no longer attached to one form of experience over another, we become free to move between them with ease, unburdened and unbound.

The Ultimate Freedom

This freedom is what the ascended masters like Jesus sought to teach. It is not about rejecting creation or denying the material world. It is about realizing that we are more than just the forms we inhabit or the experiences we encounter. We are the creators, capable of moving in and out of any depth of consciousness, of any form of creation, without becoming trapped by it.

By embracing non-attachment, we open ourselves to the full spectrum of life. We no longer sink under the weight of our attachments but rise, free to explore, create, and experience the vastness of God’s creation with love, joy, and total liberation.

“Wonder why we keep getting stuck in the cycle of reincarnation? It’s our attachment to the material world. When we resist certain experiences or cling to others, we bind ourselves to this plane. By identifying with form—what we like, dislike, fear—we stay trapped. Non-attachment frees us from this cycle and opens the door to higher consciousness.”
